We collect certain data from you to meet mandatory requirements regarding medical notes. There is a legal requirement to keep medical notes for a period of time after treatment (for a minimum of 7 years). Your details will be destroyed after this period. Your personal information will be used for the purpose of your treatment, in which to give Banff Podiatry the details required in order to give you appropriate treatment/advice. Your information will only be accessed by the podiatrist. We will not share this information (i.e. with other medical professionals such as your doctor) without your permission. We take your privacy seriously and will take all reasonable steps to ensure the protection of your data. Please note that your right to be forgotten cannot override the legal requirement to keep medical notes for the mandatory period. You can request a copy of your details at any time.Please note if you do not wish to give us these details we are unable to carry out any assessment or treatment.
